MIGDALIZ MERCADO, a dedicated senior with a passion for helping others, entered the program eager to discover where she belonged in health care. Balancing two part-time jobs—including one at St. Luke’s University Hospital—while taking a dual-enrollment medical terminology course, Migdaliz exemplified commitment and curiosity. During her CNA rotation at Good Shepherd, everything “clicked.” She knew she had found her path. This October, Migdaliz began her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, taking her first official step toward a career she’s truly passionate about. We are deeply grateful to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation for opening their doors, sharing their expertise, and inspiring our students to envision—and pursue—their future in health care.
